About the Studio Athena Interior Design Team

Athena Lorenz

Lead Designer + Founder

BFA in Commercial Interior Architecture with an emphasis on Sustainable Design from Marylhurst University | Vāstu Certifications in Residential Design, Landscape Design + Site Analysis

Throughout my thirteen plus years of experience in design, I aim to bring a sustainable mindset to each project, while encompassing beautiful and functional results that bring happiness to the lives of our clients. I truly enjoy the collaboration process in creating unique client-focused designs, with their needs always in mind. My personal design style is clean-lined contemporary with a blend of organic and bohemian elements.

When not at work, you can find me enjoying time outside with my family and our two dogs, at a barre class, drinking boba tea, being a foodie, organizing, color coordinating and having living room dance parties with my husband Cameron and our three daughters, Aera, Uma and Emme.

Tahne Martin

Associate Designer + Drafting Technician

AAS in Interior Design from Portland Community College

I am passionate about design no matter the budget and my coworkers enjoy my infectious enthusiasm. Space planning is one of my superpowers – I take joy in creating beautiful and functional spaces using every single inch. Taking time to listen and build a relationship with each client allows me to support the client and our whole team throughout the design process. My personal design style is influenced by the many years I spent in Hawaii and my travels to Italy.

In my free time you can find me enjoying a cocktail with my sisters and cooking, gardening or landscaping with my husband.

Alisha Pallotta

Associate Designer + Sourcing Specialist

Professional Photographer | Area of Study: Design + Art at Rogue Community College

With an artist’s eye and a designer’s heart, I strive to see beauty and potential in the ordinary. My love of minimalist design, appreciation for the stories antiques can tell, and joy in the unsung beauty of hand crafted goods allows me to maintain an appreciation for a wide range of design styles. I enjoy modern minimalism to traditional elegance, capturing the essence of the people who inhabit the spaces.

My journey in design and photography has been an adventure of constant learning and growth. From mastering the technical intricacies of cameras and software to understanding the nuances of composition and color theory, I have embraced each challenge with enthusiasm.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and enjoying the beautiful Oregon outdoors!

Kyra CAudle

Project Coordinator + Studio Administrator

BS in General Studies with a Minor in Biology + Psychology from University of Central Oklahoma

My love for design and organization has always been a part of my life, though I did not receive my formal education in these areas. I think it’s vital for a home to have order and function, in order for the individual or family to truly thrive. A clean, clear, organized space allows for a clear mind space and the ability to take on the day’s challenges to the fullest. I also think you should find beauty and joy within a space, and that looks a little different for everyone. My personal design style is Vintage Modern meets Farmhouse

In my spare time, I enjoy the Oregon outdoors with my husband and three children: Kennedy, Pierson, and Clementine and our poodle Sammi. We relocated from Oklahoma and love all that Oregon has to offer, in terms of outdoor activities. My hobbies include teaching barre fitness classes, snow skiing, remodeling our home, family bike rides, baking, spending time with friends, traveling with my sisters, and all things hands-on; I’m a true DIYer!
